RESEARCH Early results show COVID-19 vaccine is safe, generates immune response An investigational vaccine designed to protect against COVID-19 was generally well tolerated and resulted in production of both binding and neutralizing antibodies in healthy adult volunteers, according to early results of an ongoing phase 1 trial. Emory was one of two U.S. sites where the vaccine was tested.
