Emory students help bring science into the community for the Atlanta Science Festival
From the popular Chemistry Carnival and Physics Live! to theater projects that blend STEM with storytelling, more than 20 Atlanta Science Festival events featuring Emory faculty and students are scheduled for the Druid Hills campus, Oxford campus and venues throughout Atlanta.

Vote for Emory in STAT Madness, the bracket competition for biomedical research. Emory's 2019 entry covers a sepsis prediction technology.

Renowned science journalist joins Center for the Study of Human Health
Veteran journalist and best-selling author Maryn McKenna has joined Emory's Center for the Study of Human Health as a senior fellow. On March 28, she will deliver a public talk on how consumer advocacy changed federal policy on antibiotic use on farms.

 

ACHIEVEMENT
Emory alum selected as Knight-Hennessy Scholar at Stanford
Recent Emory College graduate Sam Budnyk plans to pursue a doctorate in musicology as the first Emory participant in a highly competitive international program that fully funds graduate study at Stanford.

Emory hosts New York Times for discussion of veterans in civilian workplace
Emory hosts the New York Times "At War" section Tuesday, March 19, for "A Conversation About the Obstacles Veterans Face in the Civilian Workplace." The evening of dialogue is free and open to the public.
